We booked a pitch for a tent at West Runton before Easter and I'm sure I read somewhere recently that the site was sloping? I've checked the reviews on here and didn't find any mention of slopes. I'm not sure I can face 14 nights of sliding off the airbed because we've got a sloping pitch!!

We are off to this site soon. The majority of pitches are on quite a slope, but at the bottom of the slope it's very flat. You can choose your own pitch, so hopefully you'll get a flat one. You won't be disappointed with the site or the facilities. It's excellent!
Just returned fron 4 day visit great facilities and staff although felt they were trying to squeeze every last inch out of the place. Avoid left hand area straight after reception (west side) as the pitches are compact and grid like we had units on both sides and front and rear at 6 m rule not a great view, there are plenty of flat areas on the site and I would try next time to bag myself one on the south perimeter (right hand side after reception), east side has the kids play area that can as all play areas do remain vibrant (noisy) until dark, and finally the north side is where the majority of the slopey pitches can be found.
Just to add, the driveway from the main road down to the site is very long, stoney and narrow.Be careful.
It seems as though you will never get there.
Not one our favourite sites I must add. There are quite a few sloping pitches,so I guess its a case of whats available when you arrive.
