Any ideas anyone? we've got 4 kids ranging from 2-13. We're going to Treveague Farm for 5 days. Anyone know of any website links for the area? cheers!

I was down near Fowey a couple of months ago. Tons to see and do round there. The Eden Project is just down the road from St Austell and well worth a visit.

Have a wee look here for more ideas.

Hi we stayed at Tregarton Park in June.

If you get nice weather  Caerhays Beach (also known as Porthluney Cove) is nice. It's near Gorran Haven. The car park is right next to the beach and there's a small shop/cafe as well as toilets but it's not commercialised.

The Eden Project is quite expensive - I would say to maybe go to The Lost Gardens of Heligan - better value for money.

And as the previous poster says - Mevagissey's nice.  You should be able to get a boat trip from the harbour.

i dont think the eden project is very good for young children, although i love it , gorran haven is a lovely beach small children like it. it has a stream running down through it, and a harbour if any of you like crabbing or fishing.

 if the weather is not so good there is a good leisure centre in st austell. and as said caerhays is good another stream running down the beach and lots of rock pools.

we used to stay at seaview international excellent site. but we stay on a c&cc site now that suits us. more central since the boys stopped coming with us.

try the cider farm for a couple of hours take the kids on the tractor tour they will  be amazed how they get the apple in the apple brandy bottle,you can also try the ciders for free

Go have a look round charlestown its small but very nice,they have filmed some tv shows there, They have a sea museum there as well, try the rashliegh arms pub if your peckish nice food

I go to Cornwall a lot my sister lives in Newquay (lucky Devil)

If you dont mind traveling Lands End is great, loads for the kids to do,

also newquay is nice,

went to pentewan last year there is lots to do to keep the happy just out side st austell next to the open market there is bens world and charlestown is well worth a vist if you have your bikes with you there is a cycle path from pentewan to st austell there is also a good cycle path from wadebridge to padstow if you dont have bikes you can hire them in padstow we had two tandems what a laugh we had
