Hello,

We are going to Gibraltar Farm, Silverdale in the school holidays. We are in a touring caravan. Does anyone know if we will be able to get tv signal. we do have a sky dish however i know there are lots of trees around which may block signal.

Been a few times,though in a tent,most of the caravans had ariels/sat dishes so i`m guessing you should be ok.When you going,we are hoping to go for a few days,we love it there!

We went in our van last year for a weekend and no we didnt get a signal on freeview.

The warden was using an unusual mesh aerial, rectangular about 3 foot long. I am sure one of you guys will know which type I am talking about.
Dont know about sat. dishes.

We have definately seen the caravaners watching TV, but on this site (with no EHU for tents), we go native and don't bother with TV etc, the view suffices!

I think Lakeland radio had a thing on saying it would all have changed over to digital by 26th July (could have got the date wrong but is def end of July sometimes)and all the freeview boxes would need re-tuning.
