Due to family issues we're unable to go to France as planned.

we would like to camp somewhere in the Cotwolds /Oxfordshire for a few nights.  Any recommendations ?  somewhere kid friendl ie.. can have fires/ run around in trees etc.  we ahve 12 9 and 6 year olds

i have just posted you the reviews of the cotswold hoburne site near cirencester great site good location lots to do water park close by.,

have a look we went there one year when we had family problems and just needed a nice break for our boys .

I live in the south Cotswolds and can't think of any that would allow fires.  If you wanted to stay a little further away in the Forest of Dean, there is a site that has an enclosed forest area ideal for children to run around freely in.  Search for Forest of Dean, it's in a village called Drybrook.

Lincoln Farm park in Oxfordshire close to the Thames is lovely. Has an indoor pool and a great play area for children, small animals etc etc.
