Help! We have booked for 2 weeks in August at Mother Ivey's Bay Nr Padstow for our caravan. I was telling my sons teacher all about it yesterday and she burst out laughing asking if we knew how narrow the approach to the site was..............has anyone else been to the site towing a van? Please reassure me that its ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
We'e going this summer, it's a lovely site. The road is narrow but on Saturday mornings they often have someone stood at the end of the road allowing traffic (caravans) in and out to ease problems of passing. It is the next campsite after Harlyn sands.

can get a bit windy, but this site is too expensive in my oppinion,£38 a night,so we stay at harlyn sands, you will pass it on the way to your site.
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.
We go before you. I know the site fee is fairly expensive but the site is very well kept and in a lovely position. You have direct access down onto the beach and are staight onto the coastal path where you can either walk towards Harlyn or in the other direction past Boobys Bay to Constantine. We are really looking forward to it; it would be lovely if we could have some nice weather!
