We are newbie caravaners and are looking for a family oriented site in Newquay for sometime in August. We have 3 girls aged 14, 4 and 2. Any advice graetly appreciated. Thank you, Sarah.

Newperran in goonhaven is a great site, we couldnt get on there this year left it too late, so we are trying Summer Lodge. most site in or around Newquay are fine its a matter of what you want on the site that is important, and if there are places available thats the big one....

Top place to go is Trevornick Holiday Park at Holywell Bay. My sister has just gone there today for 3 weeks, and has gone to the same site for the last 19 years....family run, loads for you and the children to do...

The wild rabbits are so tame. We did find the road in and out is a bit tight but we never had a problem.

Yes the road is a bit tight isn't it, better to turn left out the site as it's a lot shorter lane than going right because we tried it. Loads of rabbits my dogs didn't know which way to look lol we also has a mummy duck and her babies walking about it was a pleasure to see.
We have just come back from Tollgate farm in Perranporth.
Fantastic family run site with really friendly owners.
It has a good play area, games field and a small petting farm for the kids. Its only about a 20 min walk to the nearby Haven site, we walked up a few times so the kids could go on the crazy golf and arcade games. Yet it is still far enough away not to be bothered by any noise.
Can't wait to go again next year!

We normally leave booking until quite late but this year we noticed a lot of sites had limited spaces early on, Especially sites you could book online.
