Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Hi we have been to the old post office and its a lovely site, field for ball games , stream for children although they will need to be with an adult, pub just over the bridge and farm shop nearby. If you need anything else though it will have to be by car or a very long walk. We found the site just right for usalthough the pitch we had was fairly tight for space but would def return with no hesitation.
Lowther Holiday Park Nr Penrith, is fabulous, it has 4 seperate play parks, a BMX trail in the wood nr the camping field, a football/frizbee field, an indoor games room, with pool, table tennis and arcade games etc, a quiet onsite pub that does meals, a very well stocked shop that wasn't over priced. My kids are 13 and 10 and they had an absolute ball.
Coniston Hall camp site - 10/15 min walk into Coniston and on the side of the Lake.
Park Coppice - Caravan Club site just a little up from the Lake and Coniston Hall.
