Hi

Has anybody been here in the last year or so, the last review was May 2008.

We're going in August for a a couple of weeks in a tent and wondered how level it was and whether its close enough to walk into the town centre?

Thanks!

We have been to Bodmin C&CC site many times and it is pretty level can't remember any steep slopes. It is about 1 mile into Bodmin down a quite steep hill. There is an Asda store at about a 10 minute walk down a lane at the side of the site, and a Morrisons about a mile away. I tis one of our favorite sites as it is well placed for visiting lots of places in the area.

hi we have just come back from this site yesterday .

some of the pitches have slight slopes nothing too bad the grass is very nice well kept even in this weather it is very well drained.quite a lot of tents all sizes from many different counties.

you can walk in to the town if you like walking we did it a few times it is a very steep walk back up to the site. but you can walk a longer way past asda. longer but not quite so steep . the information centre in bodmin is excellent and has some walks around the town .

it is very central for many trips and days out , a very nice quiet site with friendly site managers i would return to this site again , it is supposed to be closing but has been extended for another year .  the council are going to use the land for redevelopement

good luck i hope you enjoy your stay and the weather is good for you .

if you need any more help just ask.
