Hi - has anyone experience of the route into Trewethett, following the Caravan Club directions? The Club says to take a left turn off A39 (Bude Rd) onto a B road, just before a transmitter mast.

On this link (http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=185500&y=53500&z=120&sv=hendra&st=3&tl=Map+of+Hendra+Fm,+Cornwall+[Farm]&searchp=ids.srf&mapp=map.srf) it shows as going in direction of Hendra, but is it a reasonable route for Caravans (might be a twin axle in our group),? Appreciate your comments please.

Chris

Last time we went we followed the CC Club directions, I remember it being quite tight in placed but plenty of other people manage it. (OH Was driving so I probably was engrossed in the map)

Just rememebr to strap your awnings down well there it can get very windy on them cliffs.

Thanks for the info Gazmister - we hope to be set back from the cliff so as to get some relief from any winds (lady of the house requires short walks to ablutions block)

If you go to Trewethett, follow the CC instructions.

Don`t look at a map, throw your sat-nav out of the window, and don`t (if you`ve been before) think "I remember the way". Been there, done that and ended up on miles of single track roads before having to tow through the middle of Boscastle on a Saturday afternoon, up the hill and round the hairpin (got a few questioning looks - you`ll understand when you get there).

Follow the route, it`s the best way.
