im looking taking the kids to the new forest next in october could give me advice for suitable site that children friendly thanks carol

Sandy balls at fordingbridge is child heaven. Expensive though.

What do you mean by 'child friendly' The New Forest sites run by Forest Holidays have no particular facilities for children, just acres and acres of grass and trees and ponies. If your children like to run free, ride bikes , play in streams, watch ponies and foals then one of these sites would be great. If you are looking for a   swimming pool and club house type site, then go to Sandy Balls - it's great too.17

As the laughtons says above depends on what you mean by child friendly, I have just written a review of Harrow Wood In Bransgore on the edge of the forest where we just spent the last 2 weeks, the site has no kids facilities as such (no pool or amusement arcade, etc) what it has is a huge safe grassy area where all the kids played together, ball games, bike rides, hide and seek, tig etc, etc my daughter loved it and has already emailed some of the pals she made whilst down there. It will be different in October I guess but many of the pitches were long term.
