yeah i know i loathe to pay it to be honest but have just got the motorhome and am so looking forward to trying it out - cant seem to find anywhere else though x
We're off down south next Thursday(after a week last week in CC site at Killin and then The Ranch at Ayrshire)
We are looking to visit Legoland as well as London and Brighton en route to South Cornwall then onto North Cornwall. We've booked the CC Site at Redhill Surrey, about 30miles from Legoland but right side of M25, isnt too expensive at around £20 or so for family of 5, awning and dog.....
Hello! We did the same last month, and struggled to find anywhere very close and cheap at the last minute and I was determined to take the kids to Legoland, so I booked a site near High Wycombe instead (Home Farm)
It was £12.50 a night (usually £10, but we had an extra adult) which I thought was brilliant value. And the site was great, I thought - would heartily recommend.
Now, I have to admit Legoland wasn't VERY close but we were quite happy having to go that far - except that on the day we went, there was a bad traffic jam at one point so we came to a standstill for a while. Getting home was very quick, I thought.
Hope this helps!
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
