Just come back from Pheasants way - what a gem. Very quiet and peaceful. There is nothing there except a nice big field and a portable loo block. We stayed 2 nights and will certainly return. The views are lovely and it is great for access to all of north Wales. The owner is extremely friendly and nice - very laid back too. There is no play area - but a huge field for running around, playing ball - someone even had a paddling pool out. My only concern if staying for a longer period than a weekend is that it hasn't got a shower block to speak of - the one and only shower is in the gents toilets which you have to wait until it's empty and then (ladies) go in and lock the door - not ideal. Having said that if you have your own shower it's not a problem.
Hope this helps - let us know what you think

Just returned home after 10 days at this lovely site, what a fantastic base for exploring North Wales with Rhyl & Prestatyn only 15 mins drive away, the facilities were basic but thats all you need, the shower was nice and hot & the toilets always clean, the owner was always on hand and very helpful, he certainly takes a pride in his site that is dog friendly, the views through the front window of our van were glorious and the picture on the television, well fantastic! (transmitter clearly visable on the not to distant hills)
Thouroughly enjoyed the stay and would recommend this lovely clean site to all, it is easily accesible and only 10 mins from the A55 coast road.
