Some friends of ours have stayed here in Poole loads of times and they rave about the site (sometimes to the point of driving us mad) but the reviews are really good:
its not rowdy at all ive been there and its rather nice please. depends what ur looking for, and the type of people u are if want quiet and no kids etc then them places not ideal family sites are noisy etc. thats what u have to put up with if want family places u cant gag the kids whilst away, sorry

Yes exactly, if you want a site that is all singing and dancing fine, if you don't it won't be your kind of site. The OP doesn't say what they are looking for but I was just pointing out that these two sites in particular are very big, very commercialised and come with the resultant bustling atmosphere.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
As already said Rockley and Sandford are for those that like the all singing and dancing sites.
I've heard that the tent area for Rockley is terrible.
We actually went to Sandford at the end of June. Not normally the sort of site we go to but as we had our grandson we gave it a try.
To be honest we had a great time. In the indoor and outdoor pool and the kiddies entertainment at night. Also the restaurant served really good food.
The thing is we were lucky. We had no rowdies near our pitch but there was a huge noisey group at the bottom of the field. If we'd been unlucky enough to camp near them it would have been a nightmare as our grandson who's 4 yrs old would have got very little sleep.
Some people love those sites and some people hate them. If you like them then Sandford is good, can't say about Rockley though.
