Have we left it to late to get a ehu pitch for the august bank hol? I am thinking og going to weston super mare but just wondering if its worth looking or if I have left it too late?

Its always worth a look.

If there is nothing available, why not be brave and try a pitch without EHU!!!!

You never know, you might like it

I am new (well recently returned) to this camping malarky. Whilst purchasing all the "stuff" needed, it never once occured to me to get an electrical hook up. I did get an electric pump for the airbeds though

Still don't feel the need.........am I missing something here?

Non ehu is easy to cope with.

We camp with and without but without usually means a non marked pitch which means more space and often the non ehu pitches have better views in our experience.

Never entered our head to do EHU and we have 3 kids, have never found non-ehu to be difficult to be honest, you'll be fine, there is nothing to be scared of

I've never thought of doing EHU (also have 3 kids) - am I missing out on something here?!?!? Actually I think we might have had access to EHU at Fforest Fields last week but I don't have anything to plug into it!

I did non ehu for a week and didn't find it difficult at all, the only thing I couldn't manage without would be my heater in colder weather. I like to get away from the tv etc, we take books and games for those rainy days

We generally don't use EHU unless going for a week (and that was only this year!).

You use gas and batteries instead of the hookup. Means you can't watch DVDs and the kettle whistles, but other than that, pretty much the same!

No - we have 3 kids and have camped for for 7 years without ehu....I dont want to tbh (cants see the point for us)... you're not missing anything that you can find an alternative for, in the means of battery opperated ,wind up or gas powered so its perfectly do-able in comfort....as I am sure you already know!

The only thing we missed with no ehu is the kettle for a brew in the night,but we just filled a flask with hot water and used that,also got a 12v pump for the air bed.

The only thing i would miss without EHU is my fan heater ,we leave it on all night ,it can turn chilly at night from mid august
