I am new to camping and have decided to take my family to Drayton Manor and stay at a nearby campsite.

I have looked at their prices but cannot work out how much I would have to pay. Do you have to for a pitch and an individual persons price...arrgght I don't understand lol!!!

Could some seasoned camper have a look at link from

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=1603

and tell me how much it would cost to stay for 2 nights with 2 adults and 2 children in high season (we are non-members...surprise, surprise lol)!

Many thanks Jen

Hi,

Presuming you don't need EHU?

2 x Adults = 18.30

2 x Children = 5.08

1 x Non member fee = 6.46

Total cost of  29.84 per night....

If you were members, you wouldn't pay the non member fee and would get the family deal at 22.17 per night.

If you did want hook up you would need to pay another 3.13 per night for that.

Hope this helps - it is all a little confusing!

Hi Jelee.

You're certainly not thick!! as I don't even know how to post a link  17.  The pricing structures can be confusing and I found some confusing when we first started caravanning.

I've just had a look at their prices and it looks like you would pay £9.15 per adult per night so that's £18.30 + £2.54 per child per night (£5.08) + the Non Member fee per night of £6.46.

And if you want a serviced pitch i.e. EHU then I think that's an extra £3.13 per night.

So you'd be looking at £29.84 for a standard (non EHU) pitch per night.

We're not in any of the clubs but I'm sure if I've got this wrong then someone will come along and correct me!!!!

Looks a nice site tho' 17

Drayton Manor have their own campsite (non EHU) at £11 per night per pitch (£13 at the weekend) and they heavily discount park entry for campers so staying onsite is well worth it. We stayed there and didn't have any complaints and for 11 quid a night it was well worth it. Not really anwered your question but maybe another avenue to explore?

If you have a problem stressing you, sort it. If you can't, there's no point worrying about it coz it won't make a blind bit of difference!!!! Jules

If you intend using C&CC sites for another five nights or so during the next twelve months it's worth joining to save the non-member fee. You should be able to join on arrival at Kingsbury.
