We're looking to go away this weekend for two night sat/sun and want to know where the best camp sites are in the south of england (bournemouth, weymouth..ect)

It's our first time camping for two nights so we don't know many good camp sites to go too...We'd like it near a beach(within a mile or on) * Plus to have a bar/somewhere to eat as well so theres something to do on the campsite and not just a field.

Could you recommend any good ones to me please?

Thank you.

Hi

I think you'll be lucky to get a pitch this weekend anywhere.

A lot of sites also insist on 3 nights over the bank holiday.

Sorry - don't mean to be really negative. Have you tried the campsite search? If you can narrow it down a bit it's a case of phoning round and seeing if you can get space.

Hope you get sorted.

Must agree with Gailk's first comment judging by the number of caravans and motorcaravans on M5 southbound today (thought for a minute it was Friday!)   Don't know what unit you're using but you may be able to squeeze a small tent onto Woodyhyde (Corfe Castle) but you would have a long walk to pubs, restaurants etc. As Gailk suggests, use the Campsite Search. Best of luck!
