As long as you stagger along the road and not the canalside or you may get an unexpected dip! lol
Old Duncombe House is right across the canal from Guys Thatched Hamlet, where there's a pub/restaurant, tea room and various craft shops and the like - very pleasant on a nice day. Also if you come up this way between late April and September and you like car boot sales, on Sundays there's a big one in a field a couple of miles along the lane from there.
