Camped for the very first time over the weekend and stayed at this site. We were among a group of five families who shared a field at the bottom end of the site. Anyone who stayed in the pembrokeshire area will know that the weather was pretty dreadful, and as the weekend wore on, the field became a bit soggy to say the least. Anyway, I know that can be the luck of the draw with camping, so it would not have put me off. However, for the 3 nights that we stayed there, we were charged £52.50. Now I know I am new to this, but that seemed a bit pricey to me considering we were in a field with a stand pipe and nothing else. The showers and hot water for washing dishes were on a meter and were quite a distance away from the tent field. Is this the avarage price of a pitch or was it because it was a bank holiday weekend? The campsite by the way was very nice and very clean. The proprietors were very welcoming and helpful.

Was it £52.50 for all of you? That site is very popular, waiting list for seasonal vans. Never been there myself though. I used to site my van in Cold Blow, 5 minutes up the road. Moved to Clunderwen now. Both these sites have a big difference in charges.
£10 per night for Skerrylake CS near Haverfordwest, has a shower, loos and wash up area, plus ehu. Downside, it's only flat at the top of the field and gets muddy in wet weather, but it's nice, convenient and the owner is very friendly.
