Hi all, I am trying to arrange a get together with a few friends and need a suitable site. The main criteria is for somewhere to gather for our use at night. A sort of room where we could put up a few tables and chairs and eat. the more other facilities the better. Idealy it would be in the middle of the country.

 

Anyone any ideas or anywhere they have used before.?

We went to Kingsbury Water Park a few years back and they had a 'party-tent' which I think people could book to use.  You would need to check this with the site - and be very clear about your requirements.  Unfortunately we did find the wardens lacked 'people-skills' and would have benefited from extra training in this respect!!

After retiring from my 'proper job', I worked for a while as a janitor in a community school. The facilities were let out to all sorts of groups including Caravan Club, Camping Clubs etc... for rallies, meetings etc...

They set up their vans on the playground and had the use of the loos and what rooms that they needed (and paid for).

This might be something you could look at.
