Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
have a look at Pipers Height, my uncle stayed there a while back and loved it.
we are off to the lights tonight, taking the twins! hope the traffic isnt as bad as last night, took my friend 2 hours to get from Lytham rd to the M55!
God the lights will be horrendous tonight, the sun is shining at long last and the wind has gone, that will drag them out! expect 4 hrs to get through!
Cannot think of any sites near St.Annes, but Pipers height and Gillet farm are well signposted and 2mins from the M55 at Blackpool, there's also a Haven site nearby, not sure about camping on there, its called Marton Mere.
There's also the firework championships on every sunday night for the next few weeks, well worth seeing. check out the Blackpool tourism website.
Hi Jude,
We are staying in Kneps farm at Halloween.
Whats the best way to get into Blackpool.
We thought we would go in early each morning and stay all day.

are you on the larne to fleetwood ferry? if so just follow the seafront all the way to cleveleys, I would use the trams to get from cleveleys into blackpool, but saying that parking shouldn't be too bad at that time of year.
Windy Harbour caravan park which is 6 miles from Blackpool. Excellent touring park with super kids play park, cafe, chippy, family bathroom, family entertainment. We have been going there the past 3 years and will be for many years to come. Its a must!

The best way from Kneps farm site is to leave the site to the mini roundabout and go straight across into Stannah road to the second mini roundabout straigh across into Station Road....this will take you into Thornton Village.... follow this road which will become Victoria Road East...to traffic lights cross these and you will come to a large roundabout take the third exit which is straigh across ....this road is called Victoria Road West..... continue going through the lights until you come to a second set of light turn left and follow this road A584 into Blackpool along the sea front...... Parking is cheapish at Wilkinsons on Dickson Road near North Station or The Hounds Hill Multi Store carpark follow sign post for this once you reach Blackpool. The Cheapest car park is at Starr Gate down at the South of Blackpool on the prom where the trams stop and turn round...... think up to twelve hours is 2.70 then you could walk or get a tram.
Well no good paying silly prices try and park by the Solaris Centre it is only a five min walk from the Pleasure Beach and will cost nothing. Don't park in any of the Pleasure Beach car park they are a rip off.
Thanks Sue
Youve been a great help.
Looking forward to our visit.
Its been years since we have been in Blackpool.
Its one of my favourite places, I dont care what other folk think of it, I love it.
