It really depends what you are looking for, Rob. You could try the camp site search in the sort of area you are looking at and read some of the reviews. I think you can also specify what facilities you would like as part of the search. You need to ask yourself if you want a quiet site or one with a swimming pool/ electric hook up/ clubhouse/ shop/ toilet facilites etc. You then need to work out where you want to go. There is so much choice out there and 'one man's meat is another man's poison' so to speak.
From your monicker it sounds like you might want sites that are on the smaller, quieter side, a good place to start if that is the case is the search facility for campsites that allow campfires - that immediately cuts out all the big sites! I have found a few excellent sites that way.
But like DSB says, you have to decide what you want first, and where you want it!
Yes your name would seem to point to the fact you travel light, which is an advantage because assuming you only have a small tent you could choose almost anywhere, and if you don't like it move on, they can usually fit a small tent on.
As said look in the campsite search for site in an area you fancy and look at the reviews to see if the match what you require.
Good luck.

Thanks for the replied.... i am looking for any part of the country I am a new camper and only been to one site so far and there was fighting on that one so wanted recommendations
Congratulations and welcome to camping! There is a very useful campsite search on here but will only help when you really know what you are looking for.
Perhaps, as I have found you may have to go with trial and error to begin with and just give it a go. Some people like camp fires, electric hook ups, modern facilities or basic portaloos, plenty of people or solitude, tourist locations or in the middle of nowhere. Have you any ideas as to your taste?
It's very difficult to offer suggestions to this but I like Llanthony campsite as I can walk up the mountains straight from the site, everyone is friendly, there is food and bar there but you have a little walk to the loos.
I suggest planning one or two nights stay wherever you decide and that way you will get a taste of whether you like it or not. You could also try the forum for meeting other campers and that way they could help you find your feet with company whilst trying out campsites.
Good look and I'd like to hear more on how you get on.
