After reading some excellent reviews on here me and my gf have today decided to visit it there tomorow for 3 nights. Was not sure i wanted to drive 250 miles for such a short stay but i just can't think of another site i want to visit right now. Anyone else decided on a last minute get away while the sun is still out?

Just seen the weather forecast for the weekend and decided to go for it. Booked Maustin Park adults only near Harewood House. Might be the last of summer before the gas heater comes out.
You wont regret the 250 miles. Wish I could be off this weekend but oh is working except for Sunday, but we have planned a day out to Vanfest at Malvern . Earliest we are going to manage a trip is at the end of the month - bet ya the weather is rubbish by then!

Thanks for your replies. Well i will update this thread and maybe add some pictures when i get home. It is a long drive but i think you will all agree some sites are probably worth the extra effort and time to get there. Hope you all have a good weekend whatever you are doing. Tracey how long are you staying on the site for?

We've booked for two weeks. AA route says about four and a half hours from Hull but we've been down to Cardiff for the rugby a couple of times and it's taken us about 6 to get to Bridgend so I reckon 5 - 6 with stops. We usually go down to Cornwall which takes us nearer 10 so it's not too bad at all really, and like you say, some sites are worth the effort. It's our first time there so I'd be interested to know how you get on.
