Everywhere in Cornwall is haunted (if you want to believe in such things) by the ghost of King Arthur, who was seemingly born and died at every single point in the entire county, and at several thousand others in other parts of Britain ... if you believe the tourist brochures!

i agree, the whole blooming county is well haunted.....if not by grockles, then by second home owners...lol
some of the sites ive been on ,ive been well scared by the prices!!....and if you actually do meet an actual live and kicking CORNISHMAN...well then you will be well frightened!! lol.......haha . no seriously its a great county an if you pick the right site down in the farrrrrrrrrr west, around west penwith,or the lizard you will find what you are looking for...............savvy?????
Cant help with any sites but, me and a couple of mates did have an 'experience' several years ago when taking a trip in the van down to Newquay...
driving over Bodmin on a foggy night during the time when the beast of bodmin stories were rife, we stopped in a layby as we all needed a jimmy. As we were doing our business in a hedge, we heard this deep throated growling from the other side of the hedge Not one of us stopped what we were doing to find out what the noise was (resulting in a few damp patches ) we all jumped back into the car and drove off, not stopping until we saw any signs of live and light

We have stayed at Colliford Lake Tavern (don't know how to link on here sorry). It's in the middle of Bodmin Moor next door to the Colliford Lake Park - every bonfire night they do beast burning so that might interest you. There is definitely something about Cornwall....
I was just thinking if you ever come down this way you could stop en-route on Dartmoor. There are loads of reported hauntings and legends on the moor. There is a campsite at Postbridge (basic site) and the famous "Hairy Hands" ghostly sighting is supposed to haunt the area between Postbridge & Two Bridges
Bodmin Gaol host supernatural evenings where you get a "ghost" tour overnight but they are expensive.
As Debsy said, at Colliford Lake, they have the Burning of the Beast and fireworks. This year its on Oct 31st because we had a leaflet in our door (we live in Liskeard). Its always a good evening.
Personally, I would say head West...LOL, Penzance area has some great sites and there are lots of ghostly goings on down there.
