Hi,

We're planning to get a camping trip in this weekend. Unfortunately we don't drive will be traveling by train, but taking a fair amount of stuff (wheeled carriers with a lot strapped to them and backpacks) so we can't walk that far. I had planned on going to the Ashurst campsite in the New Forest as I've been there before and it's a couple of minutes walk away from the train station and local shops, however they are closed from last weekend.

I would appreciate any suggestions of campsites that would suit people without a car like us, easily walkable from the train station and close to a shop for supplies. we live in London so Kent/Sussex area preferred that is fairly easy to get to from London. Also must have full amenities.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Cheers
Craig

We live on the Kent/East Sussex borders and cannot think of one campsite with facilities that is in close walking distance of a station, you would need a taxi. Hope somebody will think of one for you.
