We are booked on a 0900 ferry from Harwich to Hook of Holland. Has anyone used this service? Is there anywhere to overnight in a camper near? How are the docks?
Dover is our normal port but thought we would have a change. Any help would be appreciated.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I used to work there. Don't think that you are sailing from Harwich, cos you arn't, the dock is at Parkeston, and clearly signposted before you get to Harwich.
I don't think you are allowed to sleep in the dock area. There are however some supermarket car parks not far away, but I also know that there is a CL within 5 mins drive.

We are going for Whit.. Out 20th May, back 13th June. Have seen the Dovercourt site adverts, it is a fully fledged campsite I think with prices to match!! Do you know differently? But thanks Geoff1. All info is good, just shows how good this site is.
We have slept on the docks on more than one occassion and found it very safe. We caught the early ferry and arrived late evening and the staff told us where to park.
