I absolutely love Lanefoot farm, just seeing the pictures posted earlier relax me! In a way I don't want to tell anyone about this site so it doesn't get too busy as we love it there so much. Facilities aren't great, one shower each and a couple of loos which get a bit muddy, but you are allowed campfires, its reasonably priced, Gareth and Helen are lovely, and important for us its dog friendly. Its about a 15 minute walk into Braithwaite where there are a couple of pubs, Coledale is our favourite, and Keswick is a short drive.
We went twice this year and looking to go again next year.
