Looking for a week away in the summer with 3 children 2 adults bikes and a large tent in the bournemouth area. After reading reviews wilksworth farm seems to be ideal for this. My only concern (if any) is that on their web site despite showing pictures of their very splendid looking facilities there are actually none of the campsite itself. Is there something they are not too keen to show or am i just imagining a problem which does not actually exist. Looked on the arial views but appears to have been taken when not busy so not able to work out if this worry is justified. Any one who's been their views would be greatly appreciated.

We were there last year , we have a caravan but the tent field looked great ,not too cramped nice washing up facilities.Tents were all round the edges of the field with a big space in the middle for kids to run around .There were really big tents with gazebos added on, one had a  kitchen annexe added to the front so it seems no silly rules. Lovely site you won't be dissapointed.

The owners were very helpfull and friendly also,I hope you get to use the pool because its great for the kids. They ask you to wear a wrist band for access to the pool but we didn't bother and no one checked.

Oh and by the way we were there in August so it was full but you wouldn't have known.Hope this helps.

This is still one of our all time favourite sites - our kids loved this site. Just the right size - not too big. We went for Half term hol in May and it was full but never felt like it was. Tent field near to entrance and next to the toilets and showers. Larger separate area for touring vans and another for statics - all quite secluded. Camping area was the furthest from pool & kids park - but site very safe for children to explore and no speeding cars. I would recommend this site - and bring some bread for the ducks living on the pond opposite the tent area as well!

I would agree with nicanders, we have been there twice and enjoyed it very much.  The tent area looked better than the caravan area which we found a bit tight with some twin axel vans only just fitting on their pitches and them having to park cars on the narrow road.  The swimming pool was great and never crowded.  The resturant was good value.  Would recommend, you will have a great time.

Thanks for that everyone. It sounded like the place to go just wanted to double check with all you helpful people. Will be booking it soon and roll on the summer! I've had enough of the snow now!!

Looked at it. Looks a very nice site too but unfortunately the tent is too big! Thought about taking the smaller tent but like the look of the pool at wilksworth farm. it is on the emergency stand by list though!

Westfleet Farm at Weymouth has an outdoor pool and evening entertainment. It's a few years since we've been but they did take large tents then.
Just thought it might be a stand by if you have any problems booking Wilksworth.
