------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.

we love porthtowan which is a bit further down than newquay, porthtowan tourist park is excellent, local beach is excellent as is the town and area xx
Yes, I'll second that. I've stayed on Porthtowan Tourist Park a couple of times. Nice owner/managers, a very well run low key family park (shop, play area & games room but no pool or clubhouse) with very competetive rates for the area.

Trevella Park in Crantock(just outside Newquay) was good.Crantock beach is a couple of minutes by car(get there early to park) has loo's etc and is gorgeous. The nearest main road is the A34 which,if you need to use, gets busy quick so if you need to use it,start out early!!There's a pool etc on the site but i can't remember what we paid. There's also the C&CC site at Bude which has the fab surfing beach at nearby Widemouth bay (about £4.00 to park all day!!)which is also a good beach.
