  we going to inveness at easter ,we live in lancashire ,we want to stop halfway any good camping sites anyone knows of

Moffat C&CC site is good if you are club members, can walk to the town.

Depending on what you are looking for Strathclyde Park is just off the M74 about 20 mins outside Glasgow. Probably not the best site in the world but ideal for a 1 nighter on the way up north.

The campsite is situated in the park itself which has loads of facilites including a and there is the toby carvery over the road which is fab value for money.

We go up that way a couple of times a year and we always use Inver Mill in Dunkeld as a halfway stopover point.  It's a lovely little site just off the A9, and we would struggle to say anything bad about it, it's idillyc.

i Strathclyde Park is just off the M74 it is only 5 mins of M74 from junction 5 not 20 mins

you can walk round the loch it is very pleasent and toby caravery across road
