Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a nice site for us to visit in Cheshire in May this year.

There are approx 9 tents all with children under 6 so they would need to be able to accept groups.

Ideally we would like somewhere that has something on site to keep the children entertained i.e. stream, playground, woods, anything really.

Can anyone help?

Thanks for your time, Jayne

Hi.although not in Cheshire(but not too far away)Lower lacon is a really nice site.Ithink they have over 250 pitches so a large group like yours might not be a problem.

Hi and thanks for that. We went there end of last year but had a pretty bad experience with it all, but I appreciate your reply.

Hi again. The only other site in cheshire ive been to is fishpool farm park campsite in Northwich and although its much smaller than lower lacon there was still plenty of room when we stayed and we found it very pleasant.Sorry you had a bad time of it at Lacon.

Hi,

I know this a way from cheshire, but we have been here for the past 3 years with a group just like yours...it's great for young kids, just food for thought.

i second the above post, greenacres is my childrens favorite site, last year  we camped in a tent all weekends in may, all weekends in july and the whole of the 6 weeks holidays, also stayed all weekends in sept and oct in my touring caravan, we are going back for june and the 6 weeks hols.

there is so much going on, its a family friendly site and lots of changes happend last year, mainly a 11pm curfew and people did get chucked of for being to noisy the following day, my kids cry when we have to leave, they love it so much we also have day trips to the farm when the weather is too cold to camp.

there is also so much to do of site but we have to drag the kids of the farm to go out, but you have chester zoo, cheshire ice cream farm/candle factory, chester city center, its also easy to vist conwy castle and its the gate way to wales.

hope this helps.
