We went to have a look at it last year, as a place to meet up with family from Lancashire, it was early season when we called, but I wasnt impressed, Sorry. On the appraoch road you drive past a rubbish tip, across from this was a field with gypsy horses grazing. We pulled in the pub car park, which is very close to site, basically at the entrance, walked onto site, which was quite level, open, grass, small toilet block.
The tide had just been across the road and it was so full of driftwood that it needed cleared to get in the site entrance, we didnt booked to go, mainly cos of the tip and local wild campers.
Depends what u r looking for?? I am soft and would be worried about possiblity of a bit of a carry on from local wild campers and booze from pub..
Have a read of the reviews from folk who HAVE stayed, cos mine is an outside view.
I can imagine on a nice summers day, sat by the water, pint in hand it would be lovely.
