Can anyone , apart from the powers that be at C and CC say that April 11th is "mid season ".    It seems like the only "low season" is before Easter  , when most of their sites are closed !  profiteering ?

price hike and april to sept mid or high season, thought they were "the friendly club " !

I also left this year due to pricing ang general lack of benefits as a members club.

As club membership is increasing overall I don't suppose they care!

For Camping, Easter holidays can be considered High Season, as so many people want to get away and it's supply and demand. Business model is to work out annual running costs, estimate demand, and price to maximise occupancy whilst covering costs.

There are many sites cheaper than C&CC but you know what you will get for your money.

I think you will find this is the case with almost any campsite not just the C&CC. If you don't like the price then find another site!

i have done, 40 quid cheaper for a week  in June within 3 miles of a cornish  C & CC club site and family run with better facilities including indoor pool .  As for the " supply and demand" business comment, is there that much demand for April as opposed to March apart from Easter ?

We are retired now and find that a lot of the campsites are too expensive for us.  However the temporary holiday sites are very good value for money.
