Seriously, my sister swears by the addage, go south for the weather, it definitely seems milder, so that early in the season may be worth following.

We say go south for better weather too. We used to go Weston-super-Mare for Easter. This Easter we are off much further south, near Perpignan! Hoping the weather will be warmer than UK at Easter, Mind say ing that last Easter we went to the west coast of Scotland! Had very cold, windy weather the first week but it imprved a little for the second week. We enjoyed it anyway.

Serously? We were in Newquay last easter and got sunburnt after lying on the beach all day!

We went near Machynlleth last year as I was on a work party. Site we stayed at was fully booked for tents but it rained all week previously and no one turned up. As it turned out easter weekend was glorious. I'm doing same thing this easter whats the chance of it happening again !!

We go  to the New Forest every Easter and I can honestly say we've never had bad weather.3 years ago we had to raid the local tesco for summer stuff for the kids cos it was 70c and the kids were boiling!! We're usually able to sit out until quite late, and even caught the sun on the beach last year.Hope I haven't cast a spell for this year now I've said that.....!!

We were in the Lakes last Easter and the weather was lovely, cool to start but sunny in the day, we had a bbq on the Saturday.

Our Land Rover Club has an Easter Rally every year and last year started wet..... but the rest of the weekend was lovely and sunny....very cold at night due to clear sky....though people did camp.  Some years it has rain all the time and others it has been like a summers day..... we always rally in the lakes.

Hi all

last year we got snow in lincolnshire but the year before we had a beautiful sunny week in weymouth, this year were off to warham so hoping for another scorcher !!

we have been to north devon for the past two easters, and both years have managed to sit on the beach, in shorts :o) it was lovely, so it will be 3rd year to nth devon for us, fingers crossed for a bit of sun again :o)
