These pods topics come up from time to time on here..and the user reviews are always positive..Have fun using yours Steve
There is a wee site about a half hour drive from me that had some for hire(as well as Tee Pee's) which I'm struggling to remember the name of at the moment..Do know the name of the village was Thornhill(In Perthshire) if that helps someone local who might be thinking of trying one...

I've been looking at these, I'd love to stay in one and now you put some sites up that have them I'm off to look......
What do you get? Just the pod or electric, what I mean is, is anything included?
Have fun.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
You've got me going now. I want to go to the outer hebrides this summer but I want to stay in one of these looking out over one of those lovely beaches. D'yer think someone there could build me one by the middle of June on Harris?
We've stayed in one before. Pretty much like camping except there's a heater. You also get them with TV's, fridges, microwaves. The pods are quite small but the wigwams are a bit bigger.
The one we are getting has a soft floor covering, a gas heater & nothing else. Downside is, I need to unpack the trailer tent to get all the camping gear out!
A chap I work with goes up to Scotland with his mates & they stay in these pods. He tells me they're lovely. I like the idea & lok forward to hearing how you get on.
