Just want some advice please.  A group of us are going away for two nights to South Devon.  We were going to Woodlands but the campsite wants a 4 night stay minimum as its the Bank Holiday - thats £84.  So we're looking at camping nearby and going to Woodlands for the day. 

Can anyone recommend a good campsite? 

Plenty of good sites around the area. Try Beverley Park or, a bit further away but no more than an hours drive to woodlands, river dart.

Both of these are superb sites and we've drove to woodlands from both of them. To be honest though I think you'll struggle to find a site that doesn't want a 4 night minimum on a bank holiday.

Parkers Farm, Ashburton not far away,nice site with good facilities and a good family bar and restaurant.

Thanks for your suggestions.....problem solved, we're now going to Woodlands the weekend before! the Whitsun Bank Holiday  :D
