We have been going to Butlins Minehead in October half term for the past 3 years. However, it is getting a bit pricey now, and Tesco don't have as many extra points to be able to pay with Clubcard deals.

We have recently bought a tourer and are thinking of going to Butlins in this instead for half term. Does anyone have an idea of how much per night it usually costs? I can imagine it being quite a bit, seeing as it would cost us about £40 for a family day visitor pass.

I love Butlins Minehead but i wouldn't want to tow my 'van there lol.  We've stayed there using our clubcard vouchers too.  There are some on here who have stayed there in their own tourers who will hopefully be along soon to reply :)

im not sure on butlins but i just got a quote for 2 adults and 2 children, over late may bank hoilday 3 nights £178,at haven devon cliffs, so i would expect the figure to be higher,

there is a site at blue anchor not much on there but its only 10mins drive to minehead or you can always get on the train.

I have the price list somewhere, but cant find it grrr, the price for school holidays was expensive, over £300 for the week, however, out of school holidays the prices were reasonable, around £100 for a week

Completely off topic, but we were touring the West Country (without the'van) and drove up Minehead main street in the afternoon. The sun was shining, the place was buzzing, people sitting outside bars and cafes, the place was heaving with shoppers. We booked three nights in a small hotel, got showered, changed and went out to enjoy the nightlife. The main street was deserted, the pubs empty, everyone had gone back to Butlin's for the night! Then it rained.
