We are there for Easter and it's a bit  "out in the sticks" between Abergavenny and Hereford. I know the area pretty well but not stayed at the site before. I assume there is a shop for basics at Pontrilas? other than that, is the nearest supermarket at Hereford?

if not we were staying at pandy last year and we used the supermarket in abergavenny

but im not sure how far you are from pandy.

Hi We are also there at Easter!! When we went in October we found a big Supermarket in Abergavenney which was about 12 miles away - but we did not find anywhere else - think the supermarket was a Waitrose.

Hi, will look out for you, how long are you there for? we will arrive on Thursday and go on Easter Monday (we are retired so have more time). The Asda in Hereford mentioned above is probably the nearest as it's on the way into Hereford on the main road. I know Abergavenny as my brother lives there, but I think the main supermarket is on the far side of the town so Hereford will be nearer. England 1 Wales 0.
