There is also a small caravan site in Cleethorpes near the Tesco's, which is about 1-1.5 miles from the sea front. It's a farm site...can not remember the name at the moment....which is not much help...I will look when I drive past next week and let you know if you are interested. I've just had a name pop into my head just as I was about to post this... I think it is called Peakes Farm.
Also the Showground as I understand it is a council owned site.It is only a few years old, not very big, but very central and right next to the beach. It may be worth ringing Cleethorpes Tourist Information.
Silver Birches is a good site, right under the Humber Bridge. It is only half an hour away.....but during the summer the traffic in from the A180 can be very busy and could really increase travel time into the centre of Cleethorpes....although there is direct train from Barton to Cleethorpes.
Hope this helps
