I saw a commercial van townig a folding camper when we were in Gibson Park CC , Melrose (Borders) site last month. This is one of my fav sites right in the village with loads of pubs, hotels within yards of your pitch.

Five Roads in Alyth (Blairgowrie) pub/resturant at the entrance

The Woods, Fishcross, (Alloa) 5 mins walk to the pub/hotel

 Don't no if this is any good 2 u, but i saw a commercial vehicle towing a caravan on a site in Selkirk (Borders) when i was there a couple of year back.Maybe if you know what area you are going 2 u could perhaps fone round a few sites within that area & ask.Better than a wasted journey.Good Luck with your search.

The C&CC allow commercial vehicles on their sites.

We used to have a van for all our camping stuff, and only one site we weren't able to us - we also checked in advance though.

  We used to camp with friends who used his sprinter van (he was a courier) which had lettering on the side.  As you may have found out, the majority of sites put this in their terms and conditions.  However didn't usually have a problem when we rang up and talked with the site owners.  Also once camped the van would be parked out of the way.

  I would suggest ringing your chosen sites first, although have some in reserve if they do say no.
