Went up there as we said we would. It's off the beaten track, Silsden has nothing going in it's favour, awful place. Found the "site". Old run down farmhouse was our welcome along with an old Grumpy farmer. He gladly took our vouchers and told us where to go, it was a field that looked as though cows had just gone through, terrible ground, toilets less than clean and in need of knocking down and rebuilding. There were a few very old caravans scattered around that all had algea growing all over them. We were so dissapointed we made our excuses and left, however the bloke wouldn't give us back our vouchers to use elswhere. We ended up driving down to Holme Valley which is a nice but not great campsite with great walks not far away.
We ended up enjoying our break away and had great weather but stay away from this truly awful place..
