I have to agree a tad pricey but we usually stay at Bainland as a winter site so use to high prices :-(
Have booked so will give it a fair review when we get back - had a bad Easter at Skirlington with the children on the next pitch using our caravan and awning for a goal post - so break was spoilt - so the adults and kids fancy so peace!
Been to check out the site today and you use the same entrance as jubilee park, but instead of bearing right and going past the lido it is staight on past the cricket pitch, so definately 2 different campsites. Petwood is not finished yet (which I find strange as we have booked a pitch for late May Bank Holiday) the toilet blocks are up but it is for the most part still a building site the gate is blocked off and says construction site. When it is finished it looks like it will be a cracking site pitches marked out and just a bit more private than Jubilee park as along side and not park of the actual park. Question is do we keep the booking on this unfinished site in the hope it is open or get in somewhere else quick
We stayed at Petwood for the bank holiday weekend, just got back. Its not Jubilee Park its a seperate gated private site. Its brand new , fab new facilities, needs to establish itself with the landscaping but good pitches, all with electricity lighting and water. It may be a bit pricey for some but it suited us great. Its really close to the Jubilee park facilities but a very different site to the Jubilee Park one. The owners are making a super effort to make this site a success, we will be back. Happy to ask any questions.
