Hi , Can anyone help? I'm looking for a site in Wales that right on the beach, that will accept both tent & caravan tourer. Thats really family friendly. We are trying to sort a family get away for the weekend of 6th Aug, for 6 adults & 2 kids, can anyone recommend a really good beach site??

Thanks for helpingxxx

Have a look at Cae Du near Tywyn (not to be confused with a site of the same name near Beddgelert).

Not sure if it's on here but there's a site I used to visit when I lived up north, think it's called black rock camp site or something like that, anyway, it's right behind the dunes at Black rock sands in Porthmadog, North Wales. Not much on the site except amenities block and kiddies play area but there's a path through the dunes and you can be on the beach in about 30 seconds. plenty to do in local area and greenacres haven site is just up the road.

Dinas Dnlle (think thats how you spell it) just outside Carnarfon) would tick all your boxes, beach is a bit stony though.

This is the place but the mark on the map is greenacres haven. If you move as far left as you can go on the beach you'll see the site just behind the dunes.
