Topic: south devon campsite for groups.

hi my partner and 2 friends and i want to to go to devon for a weeks holiday in late june.
we will be taking 2 tents 1 car.
were from county durham and the last time any of us were in devon it was about 10 years ago so were in need of some advice.
i would like to be near the coast.
were not rowdy and drunken and were all aged 23-27 and i will be 5 months pregnant so were not your average group of youths.
but we do need somewhere thats nice to stay and allows groups of 4. id like somewher relativly cheap and not to manufactured (haven holidays)
- would be a bonus if were allowed fire in fire baskets but im totally ok without.

if anyone had any suggestions they would be most appreciated.

Ooo there was a site I was looking at yesterday - recommened by a fellow UKCS member on the fishing and campfires thread.

Hole Station Campsite - think it's North Devon but sound idyllic.

Try Lady's Mile in dawlish I'm sure that they accept groups

Try Broadleigh Farm its near Paignton, South Devon. Its only a 5 minute drive to the sea, but there is not much around the site to walk to.

They are ok about fires as long as they are off the ground and the loos/showers are nice.

They accept rallies so will be fine about your group

these 2 sites we stayed at both had groups of tents together, and lovely sites.

Hedley wood, which is on north devon/cornwall border.

Bolberry farm, which is in south devon.

Both near coast, and web, and reviews on here.
