Yes, sorry you do have until the end of May (already ahead of myself here) to use up the stamps in the passport.

I agree that all sites will try and make a killing during school holidays and we don't ever take our kids out of school (they already have enough holidays in my view) but the C&CC used to class Easter and October half term as mid or low season and have only changed this recently;  so my point is, how are you supposed to take advantage of the "children camp free in low season" offer if none of the low season dates now coincide with school holidays?

imo it should not be allowed for holiday companies to offer incentives that encourage people to take their children out of school during term time. Saying things like "free children in low season" only encourages this.

free children in low season could be aimed at pre-school age children?

we've only joined this year, so have no experience of passport scheme and most of our trips are just for DH & myself, youngest son is 16 & will have just finished his GCSE's when we go away, but he's still classed as a child & its mid season so not too bad - in the past we've paid a lot for sites that had a wonderful location & a pool which we used but included in the price was use of the clubhouse, nightly entertainment & a kids club which we never used, this is the reason we joined the C & C C - good locations, excellent shower facilties & peace & quiet in the evenings, no kicking out of punters from the clubhouse!

There is no charge for children aged under 6, so the low season offer is not aimed at those not alredy at school I'm afraid.

I agree about the site facilities, which is why we book them ourselves, as opposed to lots of privately run sites with clubs, pools, and noisy campers!

However, the old passport scheme did give a sort of loyalty reward to those who used the sites frequently whereas the new scheme, which is supposed to have replaced it, doesn't appear to benefit those who can't go away at the low/mid season times of the year.  I think the old passport scheme was a fairer way of dealing with things i.e. the more you used their sites, the more stamps in your passport and the more free nights you had.
