Hi
Does anyone know of sites which have enclosed dog walking areas (preferably in North Of England) We have got a greyhound who loves to run off the lead but isn't too good at coming back when asked !

 Oaklands at Warton Nr Lytham have a fully enclosed dog exercise area..it is a nice site as well.

we used to have a lurcher who was usually brilliant at recall, however we were once on a site where the dog walking area was adjoining a golf course!! she spotted a rabbit and that was it...off she went and decided to return sheepishly when the lucky rabbit got away! so I understand your problems.. good luck

Rivendale at Ashbourne have a huge field where you can let your dog off - and there's a field beside Naburn Lock too. Not totally enclosed, being fields they have gates, but masses of room. You should get an idea if you look on Google maps.

West Ayton CC site Scarborough has a brill enclosed large dog area.... our two love it there.

Hi.

Maybe we should arrange a meet for sighthound owners. Perhaps a football stadium in the summer would be best. Just lock the doors and let them loose. The site we use has a nice little dog field but the walls are only three feet high so no problem for the greyhounds to fly over if they want.
