Hi there

We were considering camping on the Isle of Man this summer. I have looked on the reviews but most seem to focus on the tt races - definately not for us! Has anyone any recommendations - we have no idea about the island but like countryside/coastal positions and walks/bike rides etc. We have 3 children aged from 13 to 5. Any comments welcome!

I recommend Kirk Michael campsite (parish). located on the outside of the village alongside the coast.very peaceful although not at TT fortnight. there is a small stream that runs through the site which leads to the beach,very peaceful setting.. toilets/showers on site other amenities in village which is 4/5 mins walk.,bank ,butchers,pub,post office etc. I have only stayed there for the TT but would imagine it to be ideal for families at other times.

I stayed at this site in laxey about 30 yrs ago. Too long ago for me to leave a review .
The reviews are pretty much how I remember it. I was backpacking with the GF at the time and we did enjoy it.
