I have just bought a Caravan with no previous experience of towing.  Planning my hols but want to start with sites that are easy to get too ie no narrow lanes!!

Can anyone suggest any sites in Wales, Cornwall & Devon.

But   

For our first trips out with our new to us van we

found likely sites

went on to

Google maps

and had a look at the satellite map

if site not directly off  A or B  road then played with the little orange man ( alright I admit it.  Played with the little orange man anyway )

Seeing the road from a drivers perspective certainly helped and when we took first trip with the 'van, as we had seen the road the turn into the site was a calm and smooth experience.   Unlike previous camping  trips when the shout has gone up  " it was there, that was the gate " 

Then 2 miles to turn round and miss it again 

We stayed at Dartmouth CCC site a few years ago, though it was still Deer Park then.

We tent, so don't really remember, but it's on the A349 coast road, so shouldn't be too bad.

Tregarton park in cornwall near mevagissey is very easy and Mark will always offer to site your van and level it for you. Nice site nice area too.

We have just returned from Norden farm at Corfe Castle in dorset which has very easy access and much closer to you. Nice farm site and lovely area.

CC Pehnros or Cae Mawr on Anglesey, CC Stover just outside of Newton Abbot, CC crossways near Weymouth, CC Five Acres just South of Taunton, and CC Hurn Lane at Weston Super mare.  All have very very easy access.

not devon and cornwall, but why not try one of the site in brean, its 10mins from the m5, and the site have easy access and plenty of room to reverse on your pitch and most you can drive forwards onto.
