This site is a CCC /CS site 5 vans only now they are looling to change this to accomdate more vans i think it as been to planning but got turned down so it is going to appeal, now somebody is running a petition to stop it,but they are going round villages which are 3 or 4 miles from the site asking people to sign up against it, my feelings are what as it got to do with people living this far away from the site, it,s not going to affect them, i live about 4 miles from the site it,s a lovely area and i hope they get there planning past, iv,e never stayed there it,s to close to home, and iv,e no personnel involvement with the site, what do other people think about this.

Hello, we have stayed at Bramblewood a couple of times and it is a lovely site. The only downside is the lady who owns the site insists on locking the shower and dishwashing area up all the time and you have to knock and ask for the key and then return it as soon as you have finished. Sometimes there isnt anybody in and you cannot use it. (I dont see the point of advertising the fact that a shower is available if you cant use it when and if you want to). The last time we were there, a few weeks back, the lady told us that she was looking to sell the site should the right offer come her way. She  said that she had the necessary planning permission for 15 Seasonal Touring pitches. Which, if it goes ahead, would necessitate an upgrade of the facilities. I would visit the site again, as I can use the shower in my caravan. However, this was not the case for the older couple in the caravan next to us who did not have one.

-------------
Kind regards
Sue

It's a lovely site, we don't need the showers and loos, wouldn't be interested in it if it was bigger though.
