Hi,

This may sound like a contradiction, but I have 3 children under 5 and want to take them to a site that, although child friendly, isn't roudy and has a quiet evening policy. Not bothered about loads of facilities, but a pub within walking distance and a small play area would be a bonus. Ideally would like the Lakes - but don't know where to start, there's so much choice!! Didn't want to be kept awake by large groups, drinking late at night....any suggestions?!

If you have any other ideas for a Cotswold site too I'd much appreciate it as this is our next venture.....

Try the Quiet Site at Ullswater.  The prices have increased recently but it is a nice quiet site with a bar that closes early and a kids playroom.

Cotswold view... is brilliant for kids, not rowdy at all, but there are lots of things for them to do. It is a lovely site.
