No 1 take your own food and drink very expensive to buy onsite - theres a Sainsbury just before the last oundabout if you want to visit the paddocks get there early or late in the day as its very very crowded at other times, the same with trying to watch the cars on the hill i spoil myself and get grandstand seats but ihave seen the crowd 10 deep outside the main house! - walk up the hill for a better view.
How many days are you there for?
i tend to spend Friday walking round and going up to the Rally stage and Saturday/ Sunday watching the cars on the hill
Make a note of where you've parked, be prepard to q up if arriving after 8am ( it takn me upto 3 hours to get in thats why i leave home at 6.30) and a long wait to get out again ( anything up to 1 hour) do what i do have a wander round the carpark and finish the coffee in the flask.
Toilets can get messyas the day goes on but are cleaned regulary (sp)
Buy a programme not cheap but worth it
If your getting a coffee use the stand as you come up the hill brill mocca!
If you are there Sunday stay for prize giving, for the last few years everyone has been invited into the main house for cake and champers if your lucky you can get to chat to the drivers i had a long chat with Lord March last year and troy corser and a few others.
finally if you see me say hello!
hope this helps
ps dont speed anywhere near the house.....
